What is a Card Reader For ?

Description:
SanDisk 256MB Memory Stick Pro Duo memory card, this item is not supplied with Memory Stick adapter. We suggest you choose the USB2 DUO Reader as optional extra for transferring files to and from your PC.
This is the gaming version of SanDisk's Pro Duo range, designed especially for demanding use in Sony Playstation Portable (Sony PSP), as well as the latest Sony Ericsson high powered multimedia phones and Sony cameras/video cameras.

NB.Many card readers will not handle memory cards of this capacity correctly. We can only certify for use with our modern USB2 card readers, discounted below.

Carries a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.
Storage specifications:

The 256MB card has enough space to store:

-up to 3000 [640x480] Photo files
-approx. 7 or 8 albums of music or 5 hours [MP3 at 96kbps ABR] or 1/3rd more with .AAC 64kbps

NB. A USB2 Card Reader is a highly recommended option for faster transferring (up to 2mb per sec) to your card, and loading content to your card straight from your PC. They offer much quicker transfer than all alternative connection methods, and the price is discounted if you purchase a memory card.
