| Hi I have a 6230 with version 5.34 firmware on it. Do I need a DKU2 cable to create playlists or is the mmc card and the card reader enough to get my mp3 collection working on my cell? Thread: DKU2 Cable with new firmware | |

| The firmware on my Nokia 6230 is 4.44 and I can play MP3s from subfolders. I have playlists created were my MP3s are in mmc /mp3/albumname/file.mp3 And they play fine.  I also have a 1GB mmc . Thread: RE: DKU2 Cable with new firmware | |

To create playlists., yes But your Nokia 6230 (with v5.24 or later) will play MP3 and AAC tracks from sub-folders on your mmc without a problem. Playlists are useful for really large cards, when you dont want to have the music player scan all your music files to make the default playlist each time.
