| I have ordered last week a MMC card 2 GB for my Nokia 6600. The Nokia 6600 is listed in the compatible list. Today the delivery arrived but the phone tells me the card is damaged. I have re-formatted the card (FAT not FAT32) and have installed the Route 66 software on it. When i plug the card in the card reader the PC can read the card and i have full Access. I need this size because Route 66 Europe need 1.3 GB for ALL maps to be installed. What could be the problem here, and what the solution. Thread: 2GB MMC with Nokia 6600 | |

Problem Solved !!!!!
When you have a new MMC card you must let the PHONE and Not the computer format the card. The phone also makes a few folders and put some settings on the card and the computer does not. It takes the phone about 70 minutes to format 2 GB MMC. Thread: RE: 2GB MMC with Nokia 6600 | |
